This is the Smith & Wesson Model 17 K-22 Masterpiece revolver manufactured in 1959 featuring .375" semi-target hammer and serrated trigger. It remains in excellent condition retaining 96-98% of the original blue finish with a very light drag line on the cylinder and some use marks and surface scratches on the left side of the barrel and top strap. The hammer and trigger show vibrant case-colors. The original walnut Magna-style grips with S&W medallions and diamond around the screw escutcheon rate excellent and are numbered to the gun. It comes in an original S&W blue box with manual, paperwork, cleaning rod and screw driver. Also included is the paperwork and original receipt from 1962. A fantastic looking 50's K-22 Masterpiece.
