Up forhere is a Winchester Model 100 semiautomatic rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. These were made from 1961 – 1973, and this one was manufactured in 1962.
These are fantastic short-action semiauto rifles and were made only in .243, .284, and .308. Most were .308 and the .284 was made in so few numbers as to be a collector piece today.
This unmolested example maintains the original front sight hood and has not had a recoil pad added as so many did. All original finish in excellent condition. There is one significant gouge in the stick on the left side at top below scope – see photos.
Excellent bright bore with sharp rifling.
It wears a Leupold Rifleman 4-12x40 scope in Weaver rings. Comes with four original magazines, one in a homemade leather belt pouch. Includes a padded nylon sling.
