The 21 3/4" unsharpened blade is bright with a few minor speckled darkened spots with no nicks or chips in the blade. The ricasso is marked Gebr. Weyersberg Solingen, with the serial number #47224 on the guard, opposite side is the unit marked #2B 73. The handle has black leather grip panels which are well worn but in very good condition. The leather scabbard is also an original. It has a leather body with metal tip, marked 39B 709 and throat. The leather is still soft and supple and in excellence condition with tight rear center seam stitching. Over-all a near excellence pair.; SOLD |
