Description:
Post-war Springfield M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. This M1 garand features a 24" barrel and a blade front sight with protective sides, adjustable aperture rear sight, SA bolt "D28287-19SA / B-19", SA trigger group "D28290-18-SA", Sa-"11" safety, SA "C64008-5 SA" hammer, milled trigger guard, C46025 W.R.", and SA op rod "D35382 SA". The gas cylinder is a wide base with a beveled edge gas lock and a "P" marked gas cylinder lock screw for "Springfield". The stock set is a smooth 3 piece pistol grip hardwood buttstock with no markings. The barrel is stamped "SA F6535448 5 54 MD 40". The receiver is stamped "US RIFLE - CAL .30M1 - SPRINGFIELD ARMORY - 3799124. This Springfield M1 remains in good used surplus condition with various stages of finish wear.
