Description:
The Winchester Model 1897, or M97, is a pump-action shotgun with an external hammer designed by John M. Browning. Produced from 1897 to 1957, it gained fame for its robust design, "takedown" receiver, and the ability to "slam-fire"—meaning it can be fired continuously by holding the trigger and pumping the action. Several small blemishes on the steel (shown in photos). 12 Gauge
