Description:
A recent estate find from the Denver Colorado area. Here's a great example of a Nguyen Dan Bowie Knife that was custom made for US Servicemen during the Vietnam War. The blades are fashioned out of old leaf springs, the brass was used from melted down shell casings. The handel is of water buffalo horn. This example is missing its original sheath. The horn handle has a few natural cracks but is still solid. Blade has something lightly scratched into it, but cannon read it.
