"Serial No. 227774, manufactured in 1938 at the Tula Arsenal, 7.62x54R, 29" round barrel. Serial numbers are matching throughout except for the butt plate. Metal retains its arsenal finish in very good condition, with sharp factory markings visible. Stock shows expected handling and usage marks consistent with service. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A well-preserved, non-import marked example of a late 1930s Tula M91/30 Mosin-Nagant, representing an increasingly scarce find among surviving pre-import specimens.
