Description:
Serial #2979634, .30 Carbine, 16" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome, post-war bayonet lug-equipped carbine that has a Saginaw marked barrel, and parts from various WW2 manufacturers fitted: "W" slide; flat "A.I." bolt; "L.G.K.T." stamped metal trigger housing; "KR" hammer; "AI" barrel band with bayonet lug; and "H (in shield)" milled adjustable rear sight. The metal retains 90-92% of a very nice armory reapplied parkerized finish, with silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges and projections, as well as within the slide raceway. The stock has an Augusta Arsenal rework stamp "AAV" with an Italian "(star) / FAT / 70" issue stamp ahead of the oiler cut-out. The wood has numerous small handling marks and blemishes scattered about the reapplied varnish and continues on the "HI" marked handguard. A single "K.I." marked wartime magazine is included, and a post-war OD canvas sling is fitted. This is a great looking M1 Carbine, and is in very good-fine condition overall. FFL or C&R; Don't forget about Free 100% Guaranteed shipping & Insurance for orders over $500 and no CC fees. ;
