Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Description:
First off, let me say, I am not a Colt expert. Here is a Colt Single Action Army made in 1882 and chambered for 45 Long Colt. This revolver has mismatched serial numbers which is not uncommon from what I understand as many were arsenal rebuilt during their years of service. The frame is U.S. marked and was D.F.C. inspected on the frame and barrel. The action seems to operate fine and the bore is surprisingly good for the age. The lanyard loop is present. The grip strap serial number doess not match the frame, but is from 1883, so not far off. Great old Colt Single Action Army that has seen some use and abuse and possibly rebuild from its service years. Thanks for looking!
