COLT 1911A1 MILITARY – .45 ACP – USED
This Colt 1911A1 Military is chambered in .45 ACP and was manufactured in 1943, making it a World War II–era piece with historic provenance. The frame has proof markings on the trigger guard, and under the grip. The pistol has been updated with an older aftermarket slide, and an aftermarket trigger for improved function and feel, and it is fitted with a Colt 1911 barrel that appears to be made in the1950s.
Please note: While this example retains its WWII production date and collector interest, it has been modified from original military configuration (aftermarket slide and trigger). Still a great option for someone who appreciates historic military pieces.
