Description:
This is a beautiful example of a Dutch "Old Model" M1873 Officer's revolver. It is in excellent original condition, retaining 97% of its original high polished blueing. It is all matching with excellent grips and very good bore. Right grip still has a faint military cartouche on it. Excellent lock up as well. Multiple proof marks throughout. The blue is nice and deep with some superficial holster wear and no pitting.
This is a very impressive large frame revolver.
Very difficult gun to find in such exemplary condition as most saw a long and hard service life.
