"Serial No. 7656i, manufactured circa 1945–1946, 8mm, 24" round barrel. Rifle remains in very good overall condition, retaining much of its late-war to immediate postwar finish. Serial numbers are matching throughout, and factory markings remain sharp. The SWP-45 code denotes production at the Waffenwerke Brünn plant in Czechoslovakia—one of the last K98 rifles produced at the war’s end and immediately afterward under Czech supervision. The hardwood stock shows minimal handling impressions, with strong grain and fit typical of Brno production. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle comes complete with its original sling. A fine example of a postwar Czech-assembled K98, bridging the final stages of WWII German manufacture and early Cold War reissue rifles.
