Description:
This is an original last model, ridged fuller Swiss Model 1889 Rifle Bayonet with Scabbard, manufacture by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen and is so marked on the ricasso. The guard is stamped "437689" and with the Swiss cross. This example is in over-all very good condition with only light signs of use and bright blade. The correct scabbard is Swiss marked, in good to very good condition with most of the finish and light surface oxidation. 16.5" in overall length with an 11.75" blade.;
