Description:
J. Stevens Ideal Rifle 44, chambered in .25-20. Features include: rolling block, lever action, color case-hardened receiver, 26 in. part octagon part round barrel, straight grip stock and forearm. Someone has modified this rifle by changing out the forearm and adding a sling swivel. Bluing is in good condition, but color case-hardening has faded over time. Most amount of corrosion is on the bottom part of the butt plate. Action is tight and bore shows good rifling. .25-20 WCF
