Shaking up the 1911 market in recent years, Tisas Imports has been importing Turkish-made 1911 pistols that offer excellent value for the price—but the pistols have also proven themselves to be very well-made 1911s, even in the eyes of collectors! The guns are built with rugged forged frames and slides with milled internals and Series 70-style ignition systems. Tisas offers a wide range of models with some styled like classic military models, while others have more modern designs with optic cuts, threaded barrels, and compensators/ports. This pistol is a Tisas "1911A1 U.S. Army" model with a greenish-gray cerakote finish somewhat resembling old parkerized finishes. The components fitted to the gun give it an interesting mix of original Model 1911 and 1911A1 style: the wide spur hammer is similar to those used on original 1911s, while the short checkered trigger shoe, GI grip safety, serrated arched mainspring housing, trigger guard relief cuts, and checkered brown plastic grip panels are closer to those used on 1911A1 pistols. The slide also features the lowered ejection port cut and GI-style sights. This pistol features a GI-style recoil assembly with a barrel bushing. This 1911 pistol is in excellent condition and has been lightly used, yet carefully stewarded. The pistol could be mistaken for new-in-box condition! This pistol includes the original hard plastic factory case, two 7-round Mec-Gar magazines, barrel bushing wrench, and user manual. .45 ACP
