You are looking at a colt model 1903 chambered in 32 acp. This pistol has some old rust that has been cleaned off and it appears that it has been reblued or touched up at some point. That being said the lettering and serial number are both extremely sharp. I have shot this pistol and it is reasonably accurate and functions excellent. The ammunition used in the test fire was Norma 32 acp 73 grain FMJ. The recoil spring appears to be a new (or newer replacement) recoil spring. The magazine appears to be the original magazine. The serial number indicates that this pistol was made in 1918 per colt’s online database. Overall, this pistol makes a great shooter and would also make a good historical conversion piece.
