Description:
Charles Grierson (1783-1841) cannon-barreled flintlock blunderbuss. Made in London circa 1820, features include a 15.5-inch brass barrel (octagon-to-round swamped, 1.510-inch muzzle diameter) with a spring-loaded bayonet and brass guard/tang/butt. CONDITION: The bore is surprisingly smooth with but instances of minor roughness. The lockwork operates properly and the bayonet springs open when freed of the keeper. Stock is solid. The price is firm and layaway is available. $3,500 plus shipping.
