Warranted import lock stamped “A.W. SPIES” for the New York dealer and importer. Original flintlock and not a reconversion. Walnut stock and brass mounts with distinctive “Philadelphia” open work form. Identical to several known Philadelphia produced pistols by Samuel Coutty. Very good overall with nice metal with old brass patina. Wood with the original finish. Lock in working order and very good bore.
