This Model 88 was the follow-up offering to the Model 94 and offered many enhancements such as the detachable magazine vs. the tube mag of the Model 94. The bolt was also enhanced and the rifle offered rapid, accurate and dependable shooting from a classic, yet contemporary design. The stock is attractive hardwood ornately checkered, and the steel offers a glossy bluing. Since 1955 this rifle has been a favorite among collectors and hunters. This particular Model 88 is graded as Excellent Condition overall and appears to be in pristine condition.
