Description:
Inland M1 Carbine chambered in 30 carbine. The top of the receiver is marked "U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1" on the front and "INLAND DIV. / 5037184" on the rear. The top of the barrel is marked "INLAND MFG. DIV. / GENERAL MOTORS / 3 - 44". The right rear of the trigger group is stamped "INLAND" and does not have the 5/6 hole opposite the mag catch. The type 3 hammer is marked "HI" which is an Inland part. The type III magazine release is marked "M" and "E.I." which is an Inland mark. The smooth push button safety is unmarked which is Inland and others. The inside of the type V operating slide is marked "PI" which is Inland. The flat bolt is marked "IO 1" which is an Inland mark. The front sight is marked "N" which is an Inland mark and others. The front sight is a post set between two protective wings. The rear sight is flip peep sight. The Type 11 barrel band is marked on the right with a "PI" in a triangle which is an Inland mark. The inside of the two rivet upper handguard is marked "IO" which is an Inland mark. The rear left of the stock is marked with a small "crossed cannons" and "IO" in the sling well for Inland. The magazine is marked "AI" which is an Inland mark. This rifle does not come with a sling or oiler. .30 Carbine

Wood Condition: There is a crack on the right side of the stock under the op rod handle extending back about 4 3/4". The rest of the stock is in very good surplus condition.
Bore Condition: Bright bore with sharp rifling.
Barrels: 18" barrel.
Triggers: Single trigger.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP 13.5".
Fore End: Smooth walnut.
Butt Pad: Metal.
