This rifle is in good condition overall but has a few imperfections to note. The brass has some wear and discoloration from use and storage. If desired, the discoloration most likely can be corrected with a very mild brass polish such as Brasso (not guaranteed, results can vary).
The walnut stocks have great coloring and strong, straight grain. The wood is in about 90% condition. The 10% deduction is due to a couple of scratches in the finish. Most notably on the right side of the buttstock (upper), left side of the buttstock in the grip area, and the left side of the forend. These are not very deep and not super noticeable unless you catch them in the light just right.
The bluing is in good condition, around 95%. The bore and rifling are in nice condition too, shiny and bright.
If you‚re in the market for a really nice lever gun in 44 mag, and are not worried about superficial imperfections, this is a great rifle for you. Mechanically, it‚s in great condition and will serve you well. It comes as pictured with the factory box.
