Description:
This Winchester Model 1873 is in very good overall condition, especially considering its age- This rifle was manufactured in 1891 as a special order. Straight grain American walnut stocks retain the majority of the original varnish with some very light impressions in the wood. The receiver and barrel have about 85% of their blued finish remaining, hammer and lever carry faded case coloring. 4-piece Winchester steel cleaning rod behind trap in butt. English period proof marks present on barrel, just forward of receiver. Mechanically excellent. Firearm only. .44-40 Winchester
