Description:
The SVT-40 was Intended to be the main rifle for the Red Army but the German invasion of Russia in 1941 put a serious dent in production with the hasty switch back to the mosin nagant for its ease of manufacturing. This very rare piece of WWII history is in very good condition with a bright shiny bore and very little wear on the metal components. 7.62 X 54R.
