Description:
This is a nice example of a 1937 S/42 P.08 made by Mauser and chambered in 9 mm. The left of the barrel extension is marked "9120", the chamber ring is marked "1937" and the right side has two eagle/63 waffenamts and an eagle proof. The top of the toggle is marked "S/42". The mark "20" is found on the trigger plate, toggle pin, rear toggle, front toggle, extractor, sear bar, take down lever, and safety lever. The left side of the bolt is marked with an eagle proof. The front of the frame is marked "9120 / K". The bottom of the barrel is marked "9120 / 8,81", the right-rear of the barrel has an eagle proof and the left has an eagle over "63" waffenamt. It has the standard "GESICHERT" on the upper safety. The front sight dovetailed serrated blade. The rear sight is a "V"-notch integral to the rear toggle link. The grips are a two piece checkered wood marked "20" on the back sides. The blued magazine has an aluminum floorplate marked "9120" and eagle "63". The second magazine has a blued body with a wood base marked "O / T / 42" with "KK" on the right side at the base and a circle with a "5" in it, then a "9". The holster is marked on the left rear "GENSCHOW & CO. / BERLIN", then an eagle "WaA 112" and "1936". This also has the dissemble tool stored on the bottom side of the holster flap. 9mm Parabellum

Metal Condition: "Good surplus condition overall with typical operational wear and finish loss in the contact areas. The front and rear strap shows minor finish loss. The back strap has ""WM"" carved in it. Light corrosion freckles scattered here
Wood Condition: The wood grips show light matting on the checkering. No chips or cracks.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. No corrosion or pitting.
Barrels: 4" barrel.
Triggers: Single trigger.
Sights: Drift adjustable front with a fixed rear.
