Offered for sale is a highly collectible Winchester Model 1895 Lee Navy rifle chambered in the original 6mm Lee Navy (.236) cartridge. This historic rifle was produced for the United States Navy and represents one of the earliest small-caliber, high-velocity military rifles adopted by the U.S.
Designed by James Paris Lee and manufactured by Winchester, the Lee Navy saw service during the Spanish–American War and in early 20th-century naval and Marine deployments. Original examples are increasingly scarce, especially in honest, unaltered condition.
