This hunting rifle has a carbon wrapped cold hammer-forged barrel along with a steel forged bolt and receiver, plus the recoil pad sucks up felt recoil, so it's a pleasure to shoot. The 1500 operates with a dual lug, push-feed bolt design, and the 2-stage Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger (HACT) trigger offers a short, crisp release for maximum accuracy potential.
