Description:
Serial #161707, .45 ACP, original 5 inch barrel marked "H P" with a fine bore with very good rifling built in 1917. This is a US Property Marked, USGI 1911 pistol manufactured by Colt. The barrel, frame and slide show show highlights of added blue toning to plum-brown with crisp markings. The original checkered wood grips show flattening of the points and light scratches along with an old inscribed "W" on the left panel. It comes with an original two tone magazine. The lock up is tight with strong springs. A very nice WWI 1911. FFL or C&R
