Up for sale is a classic Colt Government Model Series 70 chambered in .45 ACP. This is an original “Series 70" configuration pistol — highly regarded for its traditional internal design and crisp trigger characteristics. Colt dates this pistol to 1979.
This example features a polished black finish that presents beautifully, retaining strong luster with only minor handling marks consistent with very careful use. The overall condition falls solidly in the very good to excellent range.
Equipped with adjustable target sights, this Government Model is well-suited for range work or precision shooting while still maintaining the clean, classic lines collectors appreciate. The wood grips complement the polished finish and remain in excellent shape, free from cracks or major wear.
