Description:
The Smith & Wesson Highway Patrolman .357 Magnum revolver was introduced as a less expensive option for law enforcement than Smith & Wesson flagship the .357 Magnum, later called the Model 27. The Highway Patrolman isn't polished to a high polished blue and doesn't have a checkered topstrap and rib like the Model 27. Mechanically, they are the same. The Highway Patrolman didn't have as many barrel length options as the 27. This Model 28 is in excellent overall condition. It would be a great addition to any collection. Manufactured 1958/59. .357 Magnum
