This is a U.S. WWII production Inland Division M1 Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine, currently configured in the desirable M1A1 paratrooper-style folding stock.
The receiver is an authentic Inland Division of General Motors wartime receiver, with serial number range consistent with late WWII production. Inland was the largest producer of M1 Carbines during WWII and remains one of the most collected manufacturers today.
This rifle is not represented as an original factory M1A1 paratrooper, but rather a genuine WWII Inland carbine that has been fitted into a paratrooper-style folding stock. These configurations are popular with shooters and collectors who appreciate the historic airborne profile without the five-figure price of an original, documented M1A1.
The rifle presents very well and remains a strong example of a real WWII U.S. military carbine that is both collectible and enjoyable on the range.
