Description:
This is a French  marked I believe St. Etienne flintlock rifle. It has marking and hardware to a model 1777. The gun has the cheek carved out similar to what the Americans did to their rifles during the Revolution.. it retains an original flintlock but gun looks to be reconverted to flint  Barrel length is 42" and overall 57". This gun has great patina and was most likely used during American Revolution and possibly War of 1812.  Partial marking on flint plate and 2 markings on barrel. From what I found it is St. Etienne with another mark as shown in my pics. $1100.00 OBO
