SUPER CONDITION MODEL 64 .30-30 STANDARD RIFLE, #1902XXX, MADE 1952. This one doesn’t seem to have seem much use at all. It retains about all the blue overall with only one small “thumbnail-size” rub spot on the barrel top about 6 inches from the muzzle where it probably rested in a stand-up gun rack- you have to look for it to find it. Forend cap retains about all the blue with a spot or two on the magazine tube- minor. Wood is excellent with only the most minor of handling. Retains the buckhorn rear sight with elevator bar intact and has the correct Lyman receiver sight along with the ramped front sight with hood also intact. Action is tight, hammer spring is strong and the safety half-cock holds perfectly. Bore is minty bright. Not quite brand new, but not far off. For a 74 year old rifle meant for use in the deer woods, this one is about as good as one could hope to find.
