The Glock 19X is GLOCK‚s first \"Crossover\" pistol, combining the full-size Glock 17 frame with the compact Glock 19 slide to offer a unique balance of capacity, control, and concealability. Originally designed for the U.S. military‚s Modular Handgun System (MHS) competition, it is distinguished by its unique coyote color finish.
Key Features
\"Crossover\" Design: The primary feature is the hybrid design, which provides the capacity and grip control of a full-size pistol (Glock 17 frame) with the shorter, more maneuverable slide of a compact model (Glock 19 slide).
Aesthetics and Finish: The G19X comes in a unique coyote brown color with a factory-colored slide. The slide features an improved nPVD coating to resist corrosion, chemicals, and the elements, a departure from traditional black Glock finishes.
Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB): It includes the GMB, which features enhanced polygonal rifling and an improved barrel crown, providing increased accuracy.
Ergonomics: The frame is designed without finger grooves for a more comfortable and customizable grip for a wider range of users, a characteristic of Gen 5 Glocks. It includes interchangeable beavertail backstraps to customize the grip circumference.
Ambidextrous Controls: The pistol features ambidextrous slide stop levers, making it easier for both right and left-handed shooters to operate.
Magazine Capacity: The standard package includes one 17-round magazine and two extended 17+2-round magazines, all in the matching coyote color.
Safe Action System: Like other Glock pistols, it employs the Safe Action® System, which includes a trigger safety, a firing pin safety, and a drop safety, with no external manual safety lever.
