Description:
The FN 1906 was developed as a shrunk down version of the earlier FN 1903, replacing the shrouded hammer with a striker and reducing the cartridge from 9x20 SR to .25 Auto. The earliest versions had no manual safety or slide stop and relied purely on the integrated grip safety. This example SN. 101777 was one of the earlier versions with only the grip safety. Overall condition is good, with much of the original nickel finish remaining. Mechanical condition is good as well, with smooth function to the action and a strong spring powering the grip safety. The bore condition is fair, with fairly sharp rifling, but moderate corrosion near the chamber.
