Colt SAA 44-40 cal Bore VG, Mech Exc tight crisp action, Original Colt grips worn mostly visible checkering lines and no cracks chips or repairs. Has a 4 ¾ barrel with original front sight and VG 2 line colt address markings and Colt Frontier Six Shooter marked on the left side of the barrel with the word Colt partially visible. The frame has the colts patent date markings and the rampant horse in a circle markings Exc, Serial#171315 matching, Mfg’d 1897 Metal overall has traces of some fine pitting and has a dark aged patina finish.
