Description:
I'm selling my 1860 Henry .44 Rim Fire Rifle w/ Cleaning Rod that was purchase by Private William Hobson that served in Co. D, 39th Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry that's engraved on the reciever. The rifle is fully functional with great patina. Both the barrel and receiver have rear sight dovetails.  He was on the Muster Roll from November, 1861 to Muster Out Roll on July 9th, 1865. He was wounded near Atlanta, GA on July 22nd. 1864, I have injury report and pension paper as well as his enlistment papers. It looks like he came over from Europe to fight in the war and had the money to buy his own Henry instead of getting a sigle shot issued to him.

Let me know if you have any questions
