Description:
A Husqvarna Vapenfabriks manufactured model M38 Swedish Mauser in very good overall condition. The finish is in good overall shape, with some normal handling marks considering its age. Said marks include some wear on the operating surfaces, some finish wear on the outside of the barrel, a touch of spot rust on the flash hider and some wear on the top of the rear barrel band. The magazine floorplate does appear to have been refinished at some point. The wood is in very good shape overall, with some standard handling marks and one small chip near the buttplate, but no major blemishes or cracks. The bore is in very good condition, a bit dull from use and age, but no signs of corrosion. This rifle was manufactured in 1942. All serialized steel components appear to have matching serial numbers. 6.5X55
