Serial numbers are matching, and the magazine—correct for these conversions—is unmarked with its spring and follower removed. Metal surfaces have thinned to a light grey patina Consistent with age and service. The socket cup is marked ""Crown/V.R./Enfield/1898/L.E./I/SHT.22/III/B.S.A. Co.," with the opposite side stamped “Sparkbrook/1905/SHT. L.E./COND II," clearly documenting its conversion lineage. The bolt head is properly marked “.22 No.2."
