Offered here for sale and just acquired is this Superb Winchester Model 1894 / Model 94 chambered in .30 WCF (.30-30 caliber) with serial number 1,332,673:
Based on Winchester Model 94 serial number production ranges, this specimen with serial 1332673 was most likely manufactured in the spring/early part of 1942.
The Winchester Model 1894 / Model 94 was produced continuously from 1894 through 2006 and became legendary for its use with the .30-30 Winchester cartridge (originally named .30 WCF – Winchester Center Fire).
The .30 WCF (30-30) chambering is iconic and has 20″ barrel . An essentially unfired rifle with original finish, bore condition, and only minor storage marks would be very rare for a 1940s Winchester and highly desirable to collectors — particularly “pre-64” as this is.
It would be most difficult to find as nice as this collectible in this condition coupled with its extreme age in production-more than 80 year ago.
