"Serial number 9564. Made after World War II at Ceská Zbrojovka Brno with a 23.62-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. This Czech Kar98k was made with leftover parts from the the German occupation & then it was sold to the Hashemite Kingdom of Iraq, indicated by the presence of the Iraqi ""Jeem"" property mark on the receiver & barrel. The condition overall is very good considering the fact that it was once a military service rifle. There is a deep blued finish on the metallic parts & the laminated wood furniture is in unusually good shape with no cracks. A Federal Ordnance import mark has been engraved on the right side of the barrel & the caliber has been engraved on the left side. Comes with a leather sling & front sight hood.
