"Serial number 1110310. Made in 1967 at State Arsenal 116, so this is NOT a commercial Chinese SKS - it is an original People's Liberation Army surplus Type 56 military carbine that was laundered through Norinco & imported into the USA as a commercial sporting rifle. The 20.5-inch thread-mounted short collar barrel has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Features an early production milled receiver, an early milled rear sight base, an early production 1-piece gas cylinder & a milled trigger group. Equipped with a U-notched stock ferrule & a Catalpa laminated wood buttstock that is cut with a 6.25-inch groove for the 12-inch SKS folding cruciform spike bayonet. The stock is numbered to the receiver S/N. This carbine was imported by W.T.C. in Birmingham, Alabama & it is marked accordingly on the right side of the receiver. Comes with folding cruciform spike bayonet & a cleaning kit in the buttstock.
