2 Piece Walnut Stock with 3 Barrel Bands and Nose Cap, Buttstock has a Steel Buttplate and a Patchbox.
Ladder Rear Sight with Blade Front.
Barrel is Blued and Action and all other Furniture is Case Colored.
Mfg. 1976-1983
Wood is excellent with minor handling marks, and does show some wear around the wrist and forearm from handling.
Metal is excellent with minor handling marks. There is some wear to the case coloring on the upper and lower tang from handling.
The original owner claimed that he purchased it new and never fired it.
Overall a beautiful replica of a classic Civil War era rifle.
