Description:
Russian-made SKS semi-automatic rifle manufactured at the Tula Arsenal in 1954 and chambered in 7.62x39. Russian SKS rifles are highly sought after compared to later imports due to their historical significance, quality machining, and classic Cold War military configuration.
This rifle retains its traditional hardwood stock, fixed internal magazine system, folding spike bayonet, and military-style sling. The rifle shows honest surplus wear throughout, including handling marks on the wood and light finish wear consistent with age and storage, giving it strong collector character while still presenting well overall.
Blued metal surfaces appear clean with normal cosmetic wear present. Controls function as expected and overall condition reflects a solid example of a mid-1950s Tula production rifle.
