Manufactured at the Springfield Armory in March 1945 and has the original barrel dated February 1945 in extremly good condition for the age. See Pictures for condition. Has a SA Receiver, SA Barrel, SA Bolt, SA Op Rod, SA Trigger Housing, and stock has the SA , GAW , Crossed Cannons Cartouche on the stock and a P which makes it the original stock also. I don't know for sure, but don't think it was ever reconditioned as most were. I have owned this M1 for a very long time. Included wth the rifle are shown, military carry case, sling,the"ORIGINAL" multi purpose tool and oil bottle in buttstock, Bayonet and Scabbard, M1 Garand Tech Manual and 1 Bandoleer of M1 ammo (48) in 6 Enblock clips in correct cardboad sleeves. I am 82, a US Army Veteran and selling my collection. See my other listings on this site. Have owned this for a long time but, time to go to a new home.You won't find many out there like this one.
