* 2-23-26 SALE PENDING For LEE C. * Recently brought into my shop from the original owner won in a raffle and picked up at the Marlin Factory in No. Haven, Conn., USA. The rifle has been stored in the owners actic since the early 70's and is unfired. The sleeve on the box has become tattered over the years as seen in the pictures and there is no owners manual or other paperwork in the box. The gun itself looks about perfect at 99%. The walnut factory sticker is still attached to the forend. The rifle has a brass cresent butt plate and forend cap that are slightly tarnished with a gold trigger. The right side rear stock has a oval brass plate ingraved 39 CENTURY LTD. 100 Marlin Years. The right side receiver has a brass medallion with horse and rider commemorating 100 years of service ;1870 - 1970.There is a JM marked hammer extension fitted on the hammer and the barrel chamber area is also marked JM.The Serial Number is 2291.I will ship to a FFL in the Continental US.
