Description:
I have a engraved Colt SAA 32-20 5.5 inch, circa 1905 for sale. The pistol is in very good condition with cow head mother of pearl grips. The grips are very heavy and thick. I put Fire blue screws in the frame to add some pop to the gun, but have the original screws as shown in the pictures. There are initials “LAS” by each serial number that I assume was the engraver. The action of the gun is tight and shoots great. Everything about the gun is great but the box is what sets this Colt apart. It’s a handmade custom box that appears made for this pistol. Has separate areas for pistol, cleaning rod, oil/sovent viles and ammo/miscellaneous items. The two viles have oil and solvent displayed on each. The corks are old and dry so replacing them might be needed. They have flaked off some. The covers to each compartment fit very tight. It has a metal steer head in front that closes the box. A carved steer head and rope on top of the box. I can’t imagine how many hours it took to carve this box. Please contact me for any questions. I will entertain any offer.
