About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for about 60 years, and am a Benefactor/Life NRA member. I feel that it is now time to start selling a few things. Description:
NICE! Sako Finnbear L61R Rifle Chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum, made in 1970. I got this rifle from a friend and neighbor a few years ago when he turned 84 years old. He bought it brand new in 1970 when he lived in Michigan. He used it to hunt for a few years but then changed to a .243 Winchester because of the lower recoil and the fact that a 7 mag was more powerful than he needed for the Whitetail deer that he hunted. The rifle has not had very many rounds through it and the bore looks like new. The metal is in excellent condition but the wood has a few minor dings that I have tried to show in the photos. It had an older Redfield scope on it but he took it off and gave it to his 8 year old grandson to play with. The scope mounts are still in place. There is no rust or corrosion anywhere and the rifle has always been stored properly.
Because it is 56 years old (Curio & Relic), the original factory recoil pad is beginning to show some cracking and stiffness. It is still very serviceable, but you may want to replace it with one of the new space-age pads that soak up the recoil. The action and trigger function perfectly, and no modifications have been made to the rifle.
I have not fired this one, but I have had a few Sako's and every one has been very accurate and exceptionally well made. This would be a great long range Deer or Elk rifle with one of the new scopes that are available. The 7mm magnum is powerful enough for all North American big game and shoots very flat. This is a very nice rifle at a great price!

PAYMENT - I can accept cashier’s checks, bank checks, or personal checks (pending verification of funds), or money orders. I can also accept payment via Zelle and can ship almost immediately after receipt and confirmation.
My FFL dealer (Dixie Gun & Fish, St George, Utah, 435-674-4008) securely packs and ships each firearm, following all firearms laws, and will include a signed copy of their FFL with each firearm shipped. There will be No private sales on firearms!
SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges both ways. Please ask questions.
Return Policy Guidelines of GunsInternational Unless the buyer and seller agree to modify, as may be the case in a new gun, layaway, international sales and for used guns and accessories it must be clearly marked in the listing as No Return, the return policy is three (3) calendar days from the day the item(s) are received by the buyer or delivered to the FFL acting for the buyer. The item may be returned for any reason, but the buyer must notify the seller within the three (3) calendar day inspection period. The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges. On a return the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller. Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected a prompt refund will be issued. Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s). The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance i.e... Priority, Express, Blue Label etc. The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer. This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled. Sellers written permission is required to allow the buyer to take down a takedown model during the inspection period. Upon the receipt and inspection of the returned gun, the seller agrees to issue a prompt refund. Recommendation: Confirm purchase with all details via the Contact Seller form within the listing and print out the listing for your records. Industry standard is that if a buyer fails to perform on a layaway that any monies deposited are forfeited. GunsInternational recommends all layaways are agreed in writing. Any modification of the 3 day return policy must be in writing by both buyer and seller.
