Description:
Serial #S&W6415, .45 LC, 6 ½ inch pinned barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the special 125th Anniversary Commemorative cased Model 25-3 revolver, book and medallion set built in 1977. The revolver features a special gold filled anniversary logo on the frame "SMITH & WESSON / 1852-1977 / 125 YEARS" and barrel marking "SMITH & WESSON / 125th ANNIVERSARY" in addition to the smooth Goncalo alves target grips with nickel-plated S&W medallions. In excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 97-98% of the original high polish blue finish with only a faint drag line on the cylinder. The wide serrated target trigger and hammer show vibrant case-colors. It comes in the original locking Mahogany presentation case with the 125th Anniversary medallion, Roy G. Jinks book 125 Years with Smith & Wesson that secures into the lid and manual and paperwork. The original cardboard shipping box with label numbered to the gun is included.
