33100- BRITISH WILLIAMS & POWELL, LIVERPOOL OVER/UNDER PERCUSSION BOXLOCK BELT HOWDAH PISTOL CIRCA 1840’S-50’S. 11” o/a with 5” smoothbore .52 caliber barrels with top of barrels maker signed “WILLIAMS & POWELL. LIVERPOOL”. Double triggers and hammers, stirupped ramrod and cap trap pommel cap. Steel belt hook on left side of lock. Floral engraved hammers. Lock and mounts. Checkered walnut grip. Silver rectangular wrist escutcheon with the engraved initials “J.B.T.”. Fair condition with both hammer spurs removed and locks not in operating order. Pommel cap door missing. Metal with old dark patina and grip checkering and finish in excellent original condition. Dark bores. $550.
