Description:
Franz Sodia Ferlach O/U combination gun with back action hammers, chambered in 16 Gauge / 6.5x70R. The barrels are 26.5" with solid wavy checkered top rib, extractors, and a fixed Mod choke. The front sight is a blade with a dovetailed 2 leaf express rear sight and a flip up rear tang peep. The top of the barrel is marked Franz Sodia Ferlach. The locks and receiver are engraved with woodland game scenes on the left and right lock. Belly of action is engraved with scroll and floral designs with a fox on the trigger guard. The stock set is a two piece checkered walnut with cheekpiece, caped pistol grip, sling loops, and a serrated butt plate. The forend is checkered with a Deeley release. Overall this gun remains in very nice shape showing some age and a little wear from use. 16 Gauge

Chambers: 2.5" chamber.
Metal Condition: "The color case has darkened, and the barrels have turned plumb with light edge wear. Nothing major mostly age finish.
Wood Condition: About 75% remaining. The forend does have a crack on the front right side that has been filled in and has no longer spread.
Bore Condition: Bore bores are bright with the rifling barrel having very strong rifling.
Barrels: 26.5" barrels.
Triggers: Double set triggers.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP 13 5/8".
Fore End: Checkered.
Butt Pad: Hard rubber plate.
Sights: Adjustable rear.
Chokes: Fixed.
